The Chief Servant of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele has predicted the breakup of Nigeria.
He said that Nigerians were already tired of themselves and what is currently going on in the country.
Ayodele who made the prediction at the Oke Afa, Ejigbo, Lagos headquarters of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, said unless God intervenes, Nigeria’s breakup is certain.
“It will come to pass, mark my word, Nigeria will break. It is only God who will help us not to break but as it is now, we are tired of ourselves and what is going on in Nigeria, so Nigeria will break,” he said.
The cleric decried the current state of the nation, saying that President Muhammadu Buhari’s attitude to spate of killings in Nigeria has not been encouraging.
He said, “Buhari is not in charge of security in Nigeria. He is taking the security of Nigerians with levity. It doesn’t bother him that Nigerians are dying.
Ayodele called on the federal and state governments to collaborate with churches in the effort to find a lasting solution to the current security challenges in Nigeria.
“Churches should be part of security; prophets should be incorporated in the security arrangement because they can give security reports. Prophecy is security report; for instance, when the End SARS protesters were threatening to burn down the Ejigbo Police Station. I was one of those who dissuaded them from carrying out the act. I told them to stop and they stopped.
The cleric also called for the establishment of state police as a way of confronting the current security challenges across the country. “Let there be state police, if the government can’t handle state police, let them give it to the private sector because the politicians may use the state police for their self interest,” he said.
On the South West security outfit, Amotekun, Ayodele said, “Amotekun is good but the South West governors are not serious about its funding, they are just making mouth because they can’t fund Amotekun. There won’t be proper funding for Amotekun.
“Politicians will use Amotekun for their selfish end. The outfit will soon turn to something else. As a matter of fact, I supported Amotekun but the government did not reason about what to do and how to support the outfit, so Amotekun will not last.”
Ayodele who rated his prophecies over the years as 100 per cent accurate, urged governments at all levels to obey the admonitions of prophets of God, warning that any government that pay no attention to the warnings of prophets would be encountering serious problems.
